About the role

Software Engineer role focused on building AI-enabled infrastructure, data centers, and orchestration to enable scalable AI workloads at Fluidstack.

Responsibilities

  • Build core primitives end to end: entity ownership, audit, authorization, orchestration.
  • Own the domain model for power, data centers, and chips as composable entities.
  • Define interactions with outside vendor systems and ingest formats like KMZ, BIM, Revit, vendor docs.
  • Make AI agents first-class operators with tools, guardrails, and audit trails to act safely.

Qualifications

  • Ambiguity tolerance and ability to map unknown domains.
  • Rapid learning in unfamiliar domains (e.g., workflow engines, authz models, geospatial formats).
  • Taste for abstraction and ability to identify the right level of generalization.
  • Experience turning messy, unstructured data into usable data, in ML, data engineering, or research.
  • Fluency with AI tooling (LLM APIs, MCP servers, agent frameworks).
  • Shipped production code in any language using AI coding tools.
