About the role

Role focused on modeling and managing data center capacity (electrical, mechanical, and space) across multiple sites, maintaining a source-of-truth for design, delivery, and operations, and analyzing trade-offs when programs compete for space and capacity headroom.

Responsibilities

  • Model greyspace capacity across sites: the electrical, mechanical, and support space budgets behind every megawatt of whitespace.
  • Track allocation against design as builds evolve, catching where greyspace runs out before power does.
  • Build the source-of-truth views that design, delivery, and operations use to answer whether it fits.
  • Analyze trade-offs when programs compete for the same square footage or capacity headroom.

Qualifications

  • You've done capacity or space planning for data centers, industrial plants, or utilities.
  • You're comfortable in drawings and single-lines as well as spreadsheets.
  • You've built capacity models that caught a real constraint early.
  • You keep a source of truth current across many concurrent changes.
  • You present a constraint with options attached.
