About the role

Role focused on engineering automation and equipment across production lines, owning equipment from vendor selection through installation, integration with line controls and data, and driving uptime and cycle-time improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer the automation and equipment inside the lines: cells, fixtures, and machines specified, bought, and proven.
  • Own equipment from URS through SAT: vendor selection, FAT, install, and handoff to production.
  • Integrate equipment into the line's controls and data: cycle counts, faults, and OEE flowing automatically.
  • Own uptime and cycle-time gains after handoff, not thrown over the wall.

Qualifications

  • Specified and launched production equipment or automation cells.
  • Run FATs that caught what mattered before shipment.
  • Hands-on at the machine: sensors, drives, and program logic.
  • Integrated equipment data into OEE or MES reporting.
  • Close out installs completely: training, spares, and documentation.
