About the role

Senior Forward Deployed Engineer at CollectWise, a YC-backed startup automating debt collection with AI. Role blends software engineering with customer-facing implementations, leading client integrations end-to-end and translating business needs into robust technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain custom integrations with client systems.
  • Configure and productionize AI agents for each client (prompts, workflows, data transfers).
  • Develop and implement client solutions using modern back-end frameworks.
  • Translate vague customer requirements into clear technical specs and ship solutions quickly.
  • Build internal tools to make implementations faster and more repeatable.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Node.js, React.js, AWS, SQL, and GPT-5 or other LLMs.
  • Experience building products in a production environment (your own startup, early-stage startup, or significant project from scratch).
  • Very strong communication skills and work ethic.
  • Experience or interest in voice AI.
  • Versatility across disciplines.
