About the role

Role focused on helping customers maximize value from dbt Cloud deployments, overseeing a portfolio of customers, leading technical discussions, and driving renewals and expansions. Based in Austin, TX with a hybrid schedule (2–3 days in the office).

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Commercial or Enterprise customers and proactively monitor the health of accounts, product adoption, and utilization to identify expansion opportunities and churn/contraction risks
  • Build and maintain relationships with key technical stakeholders to understand analytics needs and how dbt Cloud can help achieve goals
  • Educate customers on new products and features to increase value from dbt Cloud
  • Collaborate with Sales Directors and Solutions Architects on accounts, supporting renewals and lifecycle processes
  • Be the voice of the customer in product discussions and help improve cross-functional collaboration
  • Participate in knowledge loops to improve processes and assets and enable others on the team
  • Create and deliver external-facing content through live events, blog posts, tutorials, etc.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a post-sales role (e.g., technical account manager or CSE)
  • Solid technical background with understanding of modern data warehousing architectures, analytics stack, and SQL proficiency
  • Comfort presenting to various stakeholders; externally facing experience preferred
  • Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and handle customer conversations
  • Desire to be an active team member and collaborate with Sales Directors and Solutions Architects
  • Willingness to travel to events (travel required)
