About the role

Senior Manager to lead and scale MongoDB's global Corporate FP&A function, driving forecasting, planning tools, AI-enabled analytics, and executive-facing reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Planning Systems & Financial Models: Define requirements and implement solutions for FP&A; partner with IT, People, & Finance to modernize/automate forecasting and planning tools; contribute to Pigment implementation.
  • AI Automation: Standardize and advance use of AI across FP&A.
  • Forecast Coordination & Consolidations: Manage planning process/calendar, corporate forecast consolidation, forecast reconciliation, and stakeholder communications.
  • Management Reporting: Develop executive-facing reporting for CEO, CFO, SVP of Finance, and Board.
  • People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a small high-impact team of analysts and associates.
  • Partner with departments to drive operational efficiencies across processes and systems.
  • Forecast global budget items such as payroll, taxes, benefits and allocations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree; finance, business or economics preferred; MBA a plus
  • 5+ years of experience within FP&A or related finance functions
  • Expert in financial modelling, Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, and Pigment
  • Extremely organized with strong ability to manage complex information
  • Technically competent and curious; comfortable learning new systems and building lightweight connectivity (e.g., gsheet plug-ins)
  • Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
  • Problem solving orientation and readiness to work hands-on with the team
  • Creative, driven, and skilled at creating structure in ambiguous, fast-growing environments
  • Strong project management, detail-orientation, multi-tasking, and follow-through
  • Process-oriented with ability to create structure amid ambiguity; comfortable alternating between operational/tactical and strategic discussions
