About the role

Manager, Business Operations role in Irvine, CA responsible for designing scalable processes, optimizing tools and systems, and owning headcount planning, facilities strategy, and collaboration tooling to support the Air Defense growth team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with Program Managers, Engineering Leaders, Strategic Growth personnel, and others to lead strategic initiatives and special projects across the Air Defense portfolio.
  • Workforce Planning: own staffing infrastructure, headcount planning, recruiting coordination with Talent Acquisition, demand/supply forecasting, and charge code governance; build tooling and processes for scalable resource allocation.
  • Facilities Operations: manage facility strategy and execution across 5+ US facilities and expanding international footprint, including neighborhood management, space planning, and seating coordination.
  • Define and evolve the Confluence information architecture for Air Defense, driving adoption and content hygiene.
  • Tackle ambiguous, broad problems across production, finance, growth strategy, hiring, real estate & facilities, or other needs.
  • Act as connective tissue to design, develop, and implement new processes, strategy, projects, and execution plans across complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders and gray area scope.
  • Own operational projects end-to-end from Definition to Implementation; lead meetings and coordinate large stakeholder groups to a solution.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of varied experience in consulting or finance, or operating role at a high-growth tech company, startup, or related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience owning headcount planning, demand/supply forecasting, or workforce modeling in a scaling organization.
  • Experience managing multi-site facility operations, space planning, or real estate coordination.
  • Analytical, comfortable solving complex cross-functional problems with a people-centric approach.
  • High ownership, low ego, outcome-oriented with humility.
  • Proactive problem solver who can operate independently.
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven; willing to engage deeply in problem-solving details.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
