About the role

Deployment Lead on the Air Defense team responsible for delivering and sustaining Hazard Zone capabilities that meet customer mission requirements, through rigorous operational execution, strong relationship management, mission and product expertise, and hands-on leadership of cross-functional deployment activities.

Responsibilities

  • Deployment planning and execution: orchestrate hundreds of deployment events per year (site installations, test and evaluation exercises, demonstrations, training and maintenance visits) across cross-functional teams; manage every step from site survey to testing, pack-out, installation, training, and sustainment.
  • Relationship management: build trust with customers, industry partners, users, and Anduril teammates; communicate effectively; internalize customer priorities; provide and solicit feedback.
  • Mission expertise: develop deep knowledge of customer missions, threats, regulatory challenges, resource constraints, rules of engagement; communicate requirements and CONOPS to engineers.
  • Product expertise: understand capabilities and limitations of Anduril’s Family of Systems; stay educated on sensor modalities, sensor fusion, power and networking requirements; forecast performance across threat profiles and mission constraints.

Qualifications

  • Advanced STEM degree or 4+ years of technical work experience, preferably in defense, national security, or aerospace
  • Highly organized creative problem-solver with proven project management skills
  • Proven experience leading tech-enabled teams of peers while building a culture of influence through relationships
  • Deep interest in national security issues and defense technologies, with a commitment to lifelong learning
  • Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Willing to travel up to 50% of the year: Hazard Zones for ~35%, other travel for ~15%
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
