About the role

Leadership role owning the treasury platform, automation, and ecosystem within Anthropic's Finance Systems. Responsible for end-to-end architecture, automation of treasury processes, and integration with ERP, banks, and data platforms to scale the Finance function.

Responsibilities

  • Architect the platform: define target-state architecture for treasury technology, design the treasury data foundation, lead build-vs-buy decisions and vendor/implementation paths, sequence multi-year roadmap.
  • Automate key treasury processes: own product roadmap for daily cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, cash flash reporting, bank account management, treasury intake, and payment workflows; design and ship Claude-powered agents and dashboards; translate operator processes into product specs and deliver them to production; ensure auditable, SOX-compliant controls.
  • Define the ecosystem: align treasury data models with Finance data lake strategy; map and own integration surface across banks, bank connectivity providers, TMS, ERP, and internal finance systems; drive technology agenda with partners; mentor 1-2 finance systems engineers; ensure alignment with control environment and architecture.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or systems leadership in finance, treasury, or fintech
  • deep treasury domain knowledge (cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, bank connectivity, cash pooling, payment workflows)
  • owned architecture and platform decisions for internal finance or data platforms across multiple systems and vendors
  • track record of shipping internal platforms or finance systems with an engineering team
  • led complex system design and infrastructure programs; comfortable owning architecture and platform decisions across multiple systems and vendors
  • led a system implementation (TMS, ERP module, or similar) or a substantial internal build
  • strong stakeholder management across Treasury, Finance, Engineering, Internal Audit (Risk and Compliance), and external vendors
  • clear written and verbal communication; able to run steering meetings or present to executives
  • thrives when roadmap, systems, and team are built simultaneously
