About the role

CNC Machinist on the Ultra Precision Machining team responsible for manufacturing micron level tolerance parts at production volumes, with opportunities to learn diamond turning and work with high-precision components.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines, machining micron level tolerance parts at production volumes
  • Maintaining maximum machine uptime by troubleshooting alarms, repairing tooling, and applying best practices
  • Troubleshooting across processes and equipment
  • Completing machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
  • Working with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 6+ months working in a production environment
  • 6+ months experience handling or working with machined hardware

Skills

Required:Multi-axis CNC operationTroubleshootingReading blueprints/d drawings
Nice to have:Handling tight tolerance partsMaterial handling (aluminum, copper)
