About the role

CNC machinist on the Ultra Precision Machining team responsible for manufacturing micron-level tolerance parts at production volumes, with opportunities to learn diamond turning and work on parts beyond standard capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and operating multi-axis CNC machines, machining micron level tolerance parts at production volumes
  • Maintaining maximum machine uptime by troubleshooting alarms, repairing tooling, and applying best practices
  • Troubleshooting
  • Completing machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions
  • Working with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 6+ months working in a production environment
  • 6+ months experience handling or working with machined hardware
