Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and rigorously test ROS2 architecture and C++ modules for autonomous platforms in complex environments
- Integrate sensors and actuators with hardware to align software and hardware requirements
- Develop diagnostic tooling and failure-analysis pipelines to detect actuator and system anomalies
- Validate control logic using simulation environments (MuJoCo, Isaac Sim) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing
- Package and ship production-grade software via containerised environments to edge compute hardware on physical robots, with robust CI/CD and testing
Qualifications
- Have built and shipped production ROS2 systems in modern C++, with experience debugging and optimising multi-node robotic architectures in real-world deployments
- Design software with modularity and long-term maintainability, clean and well-structured code
- Hands-on experience integrating and testing custom mechatronic systems for real-world deployment
- Developed diagnostic systems and tooling for detecting actuator or robot failures with measurable impact on failure analysis
- Proficiency in Linux development, including build systems, system-level debugging, and modern testing methodologies (unit, integration, HIL) within CI/CD
