About the role
Senior lawyer embedded in Alaro's legal team responsible for executing client legal work to top-firm standards and codifying workflows so agents can take over, with a strong automation focus.
Responsibilities
- Execution of client legal work, end to end, at the standard of a top-tier firm - from day one, unsupervised
- The steps plan: codifying every workflow you touch into a process precise enough for the agents to take over
- Scoping and mapping new workflows from the historical documents clients send - what the work is, how it is judged, where the edge cases live
- Quality monitoring of agent output on workflows you have codified. Your name stays on the standard
- The feedback loop to engineering: what the agents get wrong, what the steps plan missed, what to build next
Qualifications
- Trained and qualified at a top-tier firm - Paul Hastings, Kirkland & Ellis, Allen & Overy, a Magic Circle firm, or an elite US firm of the Skadden tier
- Roughly 3-8 years' PQE, or junior-to-mid-level associate in US terms
- Transactional background preferred over litigation
- Able to pick up unfamiliar work and codify it quickly
- Process-obsessed and automation-driven
- Commercially pragmatic
- Comfortable doing the work manually while you build the automation
