About the role

Head of Business Line Operations responsible for the full operational scope of the Air Dominance & Strike business line, from business operations to production and sustainment infrastructure, driving scale, IPO readiness, and organizational evolution.

Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of business line business operations and infrastructure, ensuring business development, engineering, and production teams have what they need when they need it to execute
  • Serve as the business line General Manager’s chief strategist to balance resource and execution risk against growth plans and monitor financials to guide profitability targets
  • Translate growth signals into demand across operational infrastructure including staffing, real estate, test ranges, classified infrastructure, and production; collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver
  • Own the business line’s governance structure from business reviews to annual planning and onboarding, developing information pathways as the organization scales
  • Collaborate with division leadership to evolve organizational structure and implement hiring, onboarding, and execution standards to maintain a culture of innovation
  • Execute on special projects, evolve internal processes, stand up new functions, and lead M&A efforts as needed

Qualifications

  • Systems thinker with ability to solve complex, ambiguous cross-functional problems
  • High ownership with low ego, outcome-oriented and humble
  • Experience building flexible operational infrastructure at high-growth companies; know when to rebuild
  • Experience with hardware production scaling through fielding, including metrics monitoring, problem identification, and resolution
  • Deep financial acumen including unit economics, manufacturing finance, and P&L management
  • Operationally rigorous with discipline, efficiency, and metrics-driven management
  • Proven ability to evolve organizations, coach senior leaders, and make hard talent decisions
  • Ability to operate from 30,000 ft to tactical detail
  • Eligible to hold a US Top Secret clearance
