About the role

Senior technical revenue accounting role focused on ASC 606, contract reviews, SSP/fair value determinations, cross-functional collaboration, and process improvements to support Anduril’s growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Contract Reviews: Analyze complex, multi-element arrangements and prepare ASC 606 checklists to document Anduril’s technical accounting conclusions for point-in-time and over-time revenue recognition.
  • Establish Fair Value: Support, calculate, and maintain Standalone Selling Price (SSP) and fair value determinations for our product and service offerings.
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Finance, Program Management, Contract Management, Legal, Order Management, and Proposals to streamline contract accounting operations.
  • Technical Research & Guidance: Research ASC 606 codification for highly complex revenue scenarios to deliver expert guidance on deal structuring and author comprehensive technical accounting memos.
  • Manage Audits: Liaise with external auditors, manage requests, and provide clear and well-supported documentation for complex transactions.
  • Drive Process Innovation: Identify and implement process improvements and automation within the revenue accounting cycle.
  • Month-End Close: Prepare and review complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations to support a timely and accurate month-end close.
  • Controls & Compliance: Assist in the formulation, implementation, and testing of internal controls, policies, and procedures in compliance with SOX, GAAP, and IPO readiness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in technical accounting with a strong, working application of ASC 606.
  • Demonstrated experience with government contracting (FFP, CPFF, T&M, CR) is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical accounting concepts for non-finance stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Slack is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with a large-scale ERP system (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and its Project Accounting functionalities; Oracle Fusion Cloud and Salesforce preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
