About the role

Role within Anduril's Production Strategy & Operations team focused on building analytical foundations and forward-looking strategy to de-risk and scale production across a growing portfolio of hardware products.

Responsibilities

  • - Sharpen Our View of Demand: Build models, frameworks, and processes to provide a clear, defensible picture of future demand across products and programs; pressure-test assumptions, quantify uncertainty, and translate demand signals into inputs for procurement, manufacturing, and capacity planning.
  • - Quantify and De-risk Commodity Exposure: Develop first-principles understanding of commodities, sub-tier suppliers, and geopolitical dynamics; size exposure, monitor indicators, and inform investment decisions on inventory, dual-sourcing, vertical integration, and long-term agreements.
  • - Build the Strategy, Then Drive It: Synthesize analyses into a coherent production strategy; own work end-to-end from problem definition to exec-ready synthesis and cross-functional implementation.
  • - Collaborate with Executives: Structure and lead sessions with senior leaders to frame decisions and drive alignment on trade-offs affecting cost, schedule, and resilience of production.
  • - Go Deep in Data and Systems: Master ERP, MRP, and supply chain data; build analyses and tooling/dashboards for ongoing measurement and action on key metrics.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, internal operations, a business analyst role, or equivalent problem-solving background.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of initiating solutions without prompting.
  • Ability to translate operational problems into data problems and execute on them.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with comfort in numbers and data-models; ability to execute analyses in Excel or similar tools.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to large groups and senior leadership.
  • U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.
