About the role
Software Engineer role at Almond building a factory-oriented robotics software stack, focusing on autonomous factory software components, agents, inventory, production, logistics, and QA quality control. Full product lifecycle from ideation to production. High ownership and urgency, opportunities across frontend/backend/robotic control/AI.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and implement key software components for Almond's factory operations centering around agents and automated inventory, production, logistics, and QA quality control.
- Contribute towards building an autonomous factory, an agentic production system, and software to ensure product quality.
- Engage across the full product lifecycle from whiteboard sketches and prototypes to manufacturing and production.
Qualifications
- Strong architectural design
- Comfort working across the stack and/or quickly learning relevant skills (frontend / backend / robotic control / AI)
- Conviction that general purpose robots (humanoids + AI) will transform the physical world
- Experience in building with agents or strong system design principles (preferred)
