About the role
Founding GTM builder role at Mesh, an AI-native enterprise accounting governance platform. You’ll design how the company grows from the ground up, working directly with founders to create category-defining narratives, growth systems, and integrated GTM infrastructure. This is a hands-on, domain-focused role intended for a first GTM hire with strong customer insight and operational rigor.
Responsibilities
- Assist founders in designing how Mesh grows—from category creation and customer education to outbound, onboarding, expansion, and the systems that replace founder bandwidth.
- Become a domain expert by engaging with Controllers, CFOs, accounting managers, and auditors to understand enterprise finance workflows.
- Build category-defining narratives grounded in enterprise accounting.
- Develop growth systems that compound rather than rely on one-off campaigns.
- Create signal-based outbound infrastructure to target the right prospects at the right time.
- Design AI-powered workflows for researching companies, enriching accounts, personalizing outreach, automating follow-up, qualifying opportunities, and continuous improvement.
- Establish customer onboarding systems that scale enterprise implementations while maintaining high customer experience.
- Create finance-focused content that resonates with month-end close, internal controls, audits, and accounting operations.
- Develop an integrated GTM operating system spanning CRM, enrichment, product usage, customer success, support, and internal knowledge.
- Run experiments across messaging, positioning, onboarding, pricing, expansion, customer education, and automation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in GTM/Operations or related enterprise software roles.
- Willingness to be the first GTM hire and shape the function.
