About the role
Lead engagements for ProSights’ AI-driven data migration and transformation projects within portfolio companies, scope problems with stakeholders, direct engineering work, and own outcomes through go-live. Role focused on managing engagements, building relationships for future work, and developing the practice.
Responsibilities
- Engagements – run what we sign as the engagement lead: scope with stakeholders, direct engineers, make decisions to keep projects moving, and own go-live.
- Lead post-signing migrations at portfolio companies, coordinating with two engineers on day one.
- Relationships – participate in sponsor conversations, present readouts, and drive repeat business without a quota, with upside on personally sourced opportunities.
- Develop the practice over time by owning common engagement components and expanding the team of engagement leads as customers scale.
Qualifications
- Three to six years at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG, or on a private equity value-creation team, or experience running a function in a portfolio company with messy data.
- "Operationally excellent" capability to manage ambiguous scope and demanding customers, and to direct engineers.
- Experience or interest in using AI aggressively and making fast, data-driven judgments.
- Desire for upside and ownership in the business, with potential path to partnership.
