About the role

Civil/structural engineering internship across SpaceX sites for Summer 2027. Interns will assist multi-disciplinary teams in designing, building, activating, and maintaining facilities and infrastructure; opportunity for networking and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, activate, and maintain SpaceX facilities and infrastructure (civil/structural engineering focus)
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Participate in optional social and professional events
  • Apply academic knowledge to real-world SpaceX projects
  • Work with teams across different SpaceX sites (e.g., Hawthorne CA; Cape Canaveral FL; Starbase TX)

Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or graduate program
  • 3+ months of civil or structural engineering-related experience
  • US citizenship, US permanent resident (green card), refugee, or asylee status as defined in ITAR requirements
