About the role

Elite security professional responsible for advanced physical security assessments, threat simulations, and rapid response to protect SpaceX facilities and assets. Combines physical security expertise, tactical training, and analytical skills to test defenses and enhance security posture.

Responsibilities

  • Red Team Operations: conduct physical security assessments and penetration testing of SpaceX facilities; develop and execute complex threat scenarios to test access control, surveillance, and alarm systems; collaborate with security teams to identify vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
  • Special Operations: provide rapid response capabilities to security incidents; work with security personnel to contain and resolve incidents; develop and maintain security protocols, procedures, and training programs.
  • Threat Assessment and Analysis: conduct research to identify potential threats including insider threats, terrorism, and cyber-physical attacks; develop threat profiles with adversary TTPs; collaborate with intelligence teams on emerging threats.
  • Decision-Making in High-Stress Environments: make split-second decisions prioritizing safety; apply analytical thinking to assess situations and develop response strategies; maintain calm and effective communication.
  • Training and Exercises: develop and conduct training exercises (scenario-based, tabletop, live-fire); design complex security exercises including SWAT deployments; evaluate outcomes and provide improvements.
  • Additional Duties: maintain high physical fitness and proficiency in tactical skills; stay updated on best practices and security tech; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure holistic security.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 5+ years of experience in the military, law enforcement, overseas security contracting, or advanced corporate security realm.
  • 1+ years of experience with executive protection, mobile asset protection, or emergency response team experience.
