About the role

Senior Business Analyst focused on Starlink platform integrity and abuse prevention, responsible for detecting, disrupting, and investigating potential misuse while protecting customer privacy and complying with legal obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks
  • Develop technical detection and mitigation strategies
  • React to investigate potential issues such as scams, fraud, and illicit goods/activities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams and deepen relationships with them
  • Conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations
  • Execute with consideration for customer privacy, targeting activities of indisputable harm and avoiding overreach

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations; OR 6+ years in lieu of a degree
  • 4+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS), and/or statistical software (e.g., R)
  • 4+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators (e.g., fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or other illicit activities)
