About the role

Account Manager for German-speaking customers responsible for expanding and maintaining existing client relationships across the customer lifecycle, driving expansion revenue, and ensuring customer success.

Responsibilities

  • Account Ownership: Responsibility for an own base of existing customers with focus on upsell & retention.
  • Expansion Sales: Identifikation und Umsetzung von Wachstumspotenzialen innerhalb bestehender Accounts.
  • Customer Success Nähe: Regular touchpoints, QBRs and proactive customer success activities to maximize customer success.
  • Pipeline & Forecast: Structured account planning, clean CRM maintenance and reliable revenue forecasts.
  • Teamwork: Close collaboration with Customer Success, Product and Marketing.
  • Impact: Actively shaping the account and expansion motions in a fast-scaling AI startup.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in B2B-SaaS sales, account management, or customer success (startup/scale-up a plus).
  • Experience in upselling, renewals or expansion revenue with existing customers.
  • High product and technology understanding, highly AI-affine.
  • Structured working style, ownership mindset and customer focus.
  • German at native speaker level, confident in calls, reviews & demos.
