About the role

Developer Relations role focused on helping developers discover, onboard, and maximize use of Claude Code, Claude Tag, and future developer products; responsible for driving adoption, gathering feedback, and ensuring responsible, safe, and secure use of Claude.

Responsibilities

  • Shape how developers discover and engage with Anthropic's developer products (Claude Code and Claude Tag), grounded in hands-on experience and user feedback
  • Build frameworks to measure developer success aligned with business objectives and mission of safe AI
  • Prioritize community and content initiatives based on data, feedback, and business needs
  • Partner with product and engineering to ensure developer needs inform the roadmap
  • Define world-class AI developer relations standards and craft
  • Model excellence in technical content, code samples, and developer engagement
  • Contribute to DevRel processes and best practices
  • Understand diverse developer needs across segments (from hobbyists to enterprise)
  • Partner with GTM, Sales, and Marketing for developer-focused campaigns
  • Lead and participate in developer events, workshops, and community activities
  • Generate high-quality technical content (sample apps, tutorials, documentation, integration guides, best practices)
  • Translate developer feedback into product and content initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Research to translate AI capabilities into educational resources
  • Partner with Communications and Marketing to amplify developer success stories
  • Promote best practices for responsible AI use among developers using Claude

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in developer relations, developer experience, or technical product/engineering roles with track record of shipping content or tools that grew a developer ecosystem
  • Technically credible with ability to deeply understand AI/ML and API concepts and translate complex ideas for diverse audiences
  • Hands-on technical ability to write production-quality code demos, review developer samples, and provide actionable feedback
  • Insight into developer psychology and behavior; ability to reach developers and drive adoption through effective content
  • Passionate about AI's potential and committed to responsible AI development and safety considerations
  • Collaborative with ability to influence across teams without direct authority
  • Thrives in high-growth environments and adapts to changing priorities
