About the role

Director of Supply Chain to build and lead Arsenal-1 supply chain function at Anduril’s flagship factory in the Columbus, Ohio area, establishing readiness across material, capacity, and suppliers to support production milestones and new product families.

Responsibilities

  • Stand Up the Arsenal-1 Supply Chain Function: define charter, build integrated plan with milestones and ownership, manage risk register and governance, write operating model, secure capital and infrastructure requests.
  • Drive Material and Supplier Readiness: ensure qualification, capacity reservation, tooling, dual-sourcing ahead of need, manage BOM release readiness and risk, define and drive key metrics, communicate with executive leadership.
  • Turn the Startup into a Day-to-Day Operation: transition to durable operating function with cadences and processes, scale the team, stabilize ERP/MRP systems, institutionalize continuous improvement.
  • How This Role Works with the Central Supply Chain Team: align with enterprise operating model, maintain site autonomy for execution, two-way flow between Arsenal-1 and VP of Supply Chain for standardization and alignment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in supply chain, materials management, planning, or manufacturing operations in hardware/manufacturing
  • “5+ years managing people and at least 2 years managing managers or leading a multi-team function”
  • Experience owning S&OP or equivalent end-to-end planning with accountability for material availability and schedule attainment
  • Systems-thinking with deep operational instincts and ability to decompose high-stakes supply problems
  • Data-driven and systems-fluent across ERP/MRP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning tools
  • Strong executive presence, high ownership, low ego, able to align stakeholders with data-driven trade-offs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field; ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Security Clearance.
