About the role

Finance Manager responsible for end-to-end financial leadership for a portfolio of programs within Anduril's AD&S division, spanning development to production of advanced air vehicle programs. Focus on P&L, unit economics, forecasting, and cross-functional partnership to scale rapidly.

Responsibilities

  • Own full P&L performance for a fast-growing portfolio of Advanced Effects products, spanning revenue, margin, cost structure, working capital, and investment returns
  • Drive strategic financial analysis that sharpens unit economics, pricing, cost-down levers, and capital allocation across the portfolio
  • Set the long-term financial vision for the business area, defining profitability targets, product mix strategy, and growth roadmaps
  • Lead cross-functional development of the annual operating plan, translating strategy into financial targets and forecasting & reporting
  • Build and improve processes, models, and systems for financial rigor at scale, automate and standardize where possible
  • Deliver narratives and memos for AD&S and Finance leadership to enable decision-making
  • Manage and develop a team of analysts, ensuring analytical quality, controls, and stakeholder partnership
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to manage cost structures, forecasts, and investment cases during scale transition
  • Support hardware/tech business through production transitions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 6–10+ years of progressive finance experience with P&L ownership, FP&A, or operational finance in manufacturing, hardware, or production environment
  • Strong command of unit economics, COGS, inventory dynamics, and working capital in a product business
  • Experience building and owning financial plans: annual budgets, long-range forecasts, and monthly cadence
  • Advanced modeling skills; fluent in Excel; able to drive ERP, reporting, and tooling improvements
  • Track record leading cross-functional work with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and leadership
  • Familiarity with government contracting fundamentals (FAR/DFARS) a plus but not required; commercial instinct and financial rigor important
  • Must be eligible to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance
