About the role

Founding Engineer focused on building the platform foundation at Dataleap. Role involves working across the Go codebase, agent harness, system design, and tooling to support scalable AI-driven enterprise workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Dive deep into the agent harness and benchmark against public harnesses (e.g., pi or Codex) and ship improvements.
  • Refactor parts of the Go codebase to handle more load.
  • Improve skills, connected tools, linting rules, and style guides in the codebase to make code agents work more efficiently.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience
  • High raw intelligence with ability to learn across topics
  • Taste for good system design & processes
  • Confidence and humility; strong opinions, loosely held; ability to handle criticism
  • 2-3 years of system design experience
