About the role

Zoox is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee accounting processes, ensure accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP, collaborate with FP&A on accruals and capitalization, and support the general ledger, month-end close, and annual audit.

Responsibilities

  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information weekly
  • Prepare monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
  • Assist team with annual audit and tax filings
  • Conduct regular general ledger maintenance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to insure accuracy in accruals
  • Continuously assess and improve accounting systems and processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar degree
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls processes
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, team player and ability to quickly adapt to changes
  • Excellent Excel skills
