About the role

Tax Associate to join Real Estate tax practice, focusing on tax compliance and consulting for real estate clients within a nationally recognized firm.

Responsibilities

  • Apply technical tax accounting knowledge across consulting and compliance engagements for real estate clients
  • Prepare federal and state tax returns, including Forms 1065, 1120, 1120-S, and 1040
  • Participate in the tax planning and consultation process, supporting client-facing discussions and technical analysis
  • Engage in professional development activities, including firm-sponsored training sessions and networking events, and work closely with senior leadership to build technical and professional skills

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of public accounting experience; entry-level candidates encouraged to apply
  • Degree in Accounting or a related field strongly preferred
  • Some exposure to the preparation of tax returns is ideal
  • Strong accounting, analytical, technical, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication abilities
  • Willingness to travel on a limited basis as needed
