About the role

Senior Network Engineer at SpaceX, focusing on designing and operating mission-critical, AI-enabled, highly redundant networks for data centers and vehicle fleets, with automation of provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, & deploy highly redundant data centers for mission critical operations
  • Lead end to end automation of the network lifecycle: provisioning, configuration management, validation, monitoring
  • Create and maintain AI-driven network operations: Design AI and machine learning tools to monitor network health, detect anomalies and pro-actively detect anomalous hardware behavior
  • Automate rapid provisioning & upgrades of network devices & servers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve networking hardware & software problems
  • Optimize performance across hardware, topologies, protocols and software

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience designing, operating & automating critical networks

Skills

Required:Network design and operationAutomation of network configurations & monitoring
Nice to have:Juniper, Cisco, Aruba, Arista, NVIDIA hardwareKernel systems, Linux networking, high speed optical modules, RDMAAI-native engineering
