About the role

Experienced Software Engineer sought for the Developer Tools Team within MongoDB’s Database Experience department. Focused on tools to interact with data and monitor health/performance of MongoDB deployments, including interfaces like MongoDB Compass and Atlas Data Explorer. Fully remote for US-based candidates with US citizenship.

Responsibilities

  • Work on tools and APIs that allow users to interact with their data and understand health/performance of deployments.
  • Develop and maintain customer-facing UIs and possibly desktop interfaces (e.g., MongoDB Compass) or browser-based tools (Atlas Data Explorer).
  • Collaborate as part of a team to design and architect scalable, high-availability web applications.
  • Tackle problems in a distributed environment and continually expand knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Full stack engineer capable of frontend and backend work
  • Experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
  • Experience with design/architecture of modern, scalable, high availability web applications
  • Experience with databases
  • Strong collaboration, curiosity, and willingness to learn
