About the role
Program Manager role focusing on supplier strategy and lifecycle management for centrally governed fleetwide services within Meta's FacOps Business Operations Excellence team. Responsible for optimizing supplier management processes, category management, contract management, invoicing, and end-to-end supplier performance across data center operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage global programs for category management and supplier lifecycle.
- Create and enable business review framework and audits to ensure supplier performance and compliance.
- Enable sourcing and procurement for efficient supplier management.
- Act as a consultant for the Purchase Request to Purchase Order process.
- Serve as an expert program manager for matrix teams and drive complex problem-solving activities.
- Create scalable programmatic solutions that improve end-to-end Critical Supplier management for Facility Operations.
- Be the main point of contact for initiatives involving supplier engagement for operational requirements.
- Manage contract and supplier management for centrally governed fleetwide services.
- Identify duplicative efforts within the supplier strategy space and partner with cross-functional teams to reduce inefficiencies.
- Expertise in invoicing and ability to navigate complex invoicing issues.
- Support data center sites where operations issues related to vendors cannot be resolved in a timely fashion.
- Write and implement existing and new standards that allow data center operations teams to function efficiently.
- Monitor adherence to standards and find opportunities for improvements; continuously improve each revision to accommodate a dynamic environment.
- Responsible for creating implementation, compliance, adherence, and communication plans.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in an operations or service focused business model (i.e providing technical or professional services to a client)
- Experience working in/with Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Construction, Operations, Data Centers OR other applicable fields
- Experience in handling external stakeholders/clients effectively
- Strong analytical skills - ability to find, clean and analyze datasets in excel or similar tools
- Thorough understanding of services based global and multi business-units sourcing, procurement and supply chain management
- Ability to collaborate within multi-dimensional matrix teams
- Ability to prioritize and deliver on time sensitive projects and tasks
- Working knowledge of sourcing and procurement and its relationship to manpower services such as professional, mechanical and electrical work within an operating Data Center or similar field requiring outsourced maintenance work
- Experience in oversight or management of third party services
- Communications, stakeholder engagement at all levels and reporting experience
- Ability to navigate and scope out initiatives with little context provided
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, or a technical field
