About the role

Account Manager responsible for managing existing customer accounts, driving expansion revenue, and ensuring customer onboarding and success across the lifecycle for fonio’s AI phone agent product.

Responsibilities

  • Account ownership of existing customer portfolio with upsell and retention focus
  • Conduct expansion sales within accounts (upgrades, add-ons, renewals) to meet monthly and quarterly quotas
  • Regularly run review, discovery, and upsell conversations with customers
  • Analyze usage and demonstrate how AI can automate more processes and deliver measurable impact
  • Ensure successful onboarding, optimal product usage, and long-term satisfaction
  • Provide market feedback to the team in a structured way
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to ensure clean handovers, reliable forecasts, and maintained CRM pipeline

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in B2B SaaS sales, account management, or customer success (startup/scale-up a plus)
  • Experience in upselling, renewals, or expansion revenue across existing customers
  • Strong product and technology understanding; highly AI-savvy
  • Structured working style, ownership mindset, and customer focus
  • Native-level Spanish, confident in calls, reviews & demos
