About the role

Native Arabic (Gulf) speakers in Qatar needed to record 500 short Arabic sentences using the Appen Mobile app for AI speech recognition training. Independent contractor, project-based and remote.

Responsibilities

  • Read and record 500 short Arabic sentences using the Appen Mobile app.
  • Complete sessions typically 1–2 hours per session.
  • Submission and pass quality review: paid after finishing, provided at least 90% of recordings pass quality review.

Qualifications

  • Native Arabic (Gulf) speaker in Qatar; Gulf Arabic language must be listed in Language Skills for the project
  • Age 18 or older
  • Smartphone compatible with the Appen Mobile app
  • Ability to follow recording guidelines
