About the role

Frontend engineer role focused on building and maintaining Anthropic's web properties (anthropic.com and claude.com) with designers and content teams, delivering interactive marketing pages, data visualizations, and internal tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Own implementation of design system components and page templates across web properties, including interactive pages, data visualizations, and tools that communicate complex information clearly
  • Work within headless CMS architecture, maintain and improve content modeling, structured data workflows, and publishing experience
  • Collaborate with designers to bridge static design and interactive web experiences
  • Contribute to internal tools that help teams author, manage, and publish content at scale
  • Participate in migrations and site architecture projects within defined scopes
  • Move quickly from concept to working prototype, iterating with the team
  • Support tooling and workflow improvements, contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing

Qualifications

  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks, particularly Next.js or similar React-based tooling, and familiarity with design systems
  • Strong CSS skills for complex layouts, animations, and interactive experiences
  • Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms, content modeling, structured data workflows, and operating large sites
  • Experience building internal tools or improving team workflows
  • Ability to prototype quickly and iterate from rough idea to working proof-of-concept
  • Clear communication with designers and engineers, focus on shipping technically sound and visually refined work
  • Track record of contributing to production web properties at a mid-level scope and motivation to own larger projects
