About the role

Senior Product Quality Engineer focused on the Eagle Eye product within Anduril’s Connected Warfare hardware portfolio. Drives production quality, risk mitigation, and transition from NPI to high-rate manufacturing across subsystems (PCBAs, cables, camera modules, optics) with opportunities to grow into other products in development.

Responsibilities

  • Bridge design, manufacturing, production and testing teams to establish quality in a fast-paced hardware environment.
  • Drive production quality for Eagle Eye by leading root-cause investigations and corrective actions; design incoming and in-process quality strategies for critical subsystems (PCBAs, ruggedized cables, camera modules and optics); lead process risk-mitigation activities (PFMEAs) and qualification of processes and parts, sub-assembly, and the entire system.
  • Drive clarity and resolution for development ambiguities related to product maturity, process stability, and field performance to meet quality and reliability goals for volume production.
  • Champion the transition from new product introduction (NPI) to sustainable, predictable manufacturing and supply chain at high rate.
  • Own and eliminate product risk to improve reliability across the product lifecycle; engage in quality activities from concept through development and manufacturing to field use.
  • Ensure execution of product and process requirements; define and improve such requirements.
  • Work cross-functionally to define and execute the product roadmap.
  • Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities; review effectiveness of actions and share lessons learned across the product team.
  • Lead product health data analysis and improvement activities; establish metrics for measuring quality and predictors of quality performance.
  • Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System; define and improve required documentation and activities.
  • Support investigations, initiatives, and projects at team or organizational level.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar technical field
  • Experience in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Quality in Connected Devices, Automotives, Consumer Electronics, aerospace/defense or similar hardware
  • Working knowledge of design review and quality management of PCBAs, Cables, AR/VR Systems, Optoelectronics, Connected Devices, Harnessing, systems integration
  • Experience driving product quality and performance requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization; leading transition from engineering qualification to manufacturing variance testing for product quality coverage
  • Working knowledge of product development methodologies such as FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements such as MSA, and GD&T
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical manufacturing processes
  • Strong ownership mindset to drive projects from start to finish
  • Analytical skills for data mining, data quality, metrics generation, issue management systems, and statistical tools (e.g., JMP, MiniTab, MatLab)
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance
