About the role

Anduril Industries is seeking a Production Technician in Costa Mesa, CA to assemble and integrate mechanical and electrical components for the EagleEye AR headset, with travel to Seattle, WA and Denver, CO in the first year.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble EagleEye AR headset optical components, displays, and subassemblies based on detailed blueprints and schematics
  • Use hand and power tools to build, calibrate, and maintain both mechanical and electrical systems with strong ESD practices
  • Interpret equipment test results and work with integrators to support validation, develop test procedures, and perform root cause analysis on manufacturing issues
  • Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, calibration services, test results, and quality control issues
  • Integrate various subsystems and components to ensure proper communication and system compatibility while adhering to safety protocols
  • Implement best practices in electronic component handling, packaging, and storage while upholding rigorous quality standards

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of manufacturing experience in aerospace, electronics, or medical industries with strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills
  • Experience with PCBA/CCA handling, subassembly building, soldering, and calibration using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and multimeters
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, follow detailed assembly instructions, and load or verify software
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools including pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, depth micrometers, and specialized test equipment
  • Strong understanding of Electrostatic Discharge best practices and adherence to safety protocols
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to rapidly adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel as needed for project assignments and maintain flexibility, holding a valid driver's license
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled information or facilities
