About the role
Senior Manager, Corporate FP&A at Nuro to establish and own company-wide financial planning and reporting infrastructure, lead budget and headcount planning, consolidate budget-to-actuals, build systems and governance, and collaborate with Accounting, Strategic Finance, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own the financial operating rhythm. Build and run the annual budget and headcount plan end to end: timeline, data requirements, templates, executive alignment, approvals, and communication. From there you will own the monthly consolidated budget-versus-actuals and a rolling reforecast process.
- Own the headcount plan. Own the company headcount plan of record and the incremental headcount approval process.
- Executive and board reporting. Produce the financial reporting our executive team and board rely on, spanning working-team detail to board-level narrative.
- Accounting partnership and cash-to-GAAP fluency. Work with Accounting to connect FP&A to the close, chart of accounts, and ERP; reconcile plan and actuals; flex between accrual and cash views of key metrics.
- Spend governance. Design and run processes that control how Nuro commits capital: incremental headcount approvals and budget adjustment proposals.
- Scenario modeling. Model cash and accounting impacts of major partnerships, program launches, and financing events; stress-test the plan.
- Financial systems and data. Own FP&A systems and data; select and implement a planning platform and build the underlying data structures.
- AI adoption. Track and adopt AI tooling to make FP&A faster, more flexible, and more accurate; foster a modern, AI-native finance function.

- 7+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years in FP&A at a scaled technology company
- Public-company experience or IPO readiness
- GAAP fluency across all three financial statements
