About the role

Join Aprio’s Aerospace, Defense, and Government Advisory team as a Manager to support U.S. government and defense-related clients, leading strategic growth, proposal support, and program advisory across a portfolio of government contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in proposal efforts from RFI/RFP analysis through submission, ensuring compliance and compelling content, to include various technical volumes
  • Conduct proposal reviews to include major color teams
  • Support development of White Papers and submissions to SBIRs, OTs, and CSOs
  • Plan, oversee, and advise on client customer insights and strategic priorities
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on contractual matters during contract award and performance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and SMEs to shape strategies aligned with customer needs and mission objectives
  • Support corporate client business processes and SOP

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in National Security (DoD or IC) acquisition, business development, and/or program management roles
  • Understanding of federal acquisition regulations, contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, etc.), and FAR and non-FAR based procurement processes (OTs, CSOs, SBIRs)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and artificial intelligence tools, such as Claude, CoPilot, or ChatGPT
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior executives, customers, and partners
