About the role

Hands-on principal engineer to shape Bluefin, Endpoint’s clinical supply forecasting platform, across UX/UI, frontend/backend, and the Rust-based simulation engine. Mentors engineers, drives architectural and engineering-practice improvements, and owns end-to-end delivery with a broad technical ownership in an individual-contributor role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product to uncover underlying user needs, challenge assumptions, and turn ambiguous problems into practical solutions.
  • Design and build intuitive interfaces, maintaining coherent workflows, and a consistent user experience as the product evolves.
  • Lead features and substantial refactors across the stack, understanding dependencies, and managing the consequences of changes beyond the immediate implementation.
  • Own the correctness and security of your work, including AI-assisted output, through meaningful testing and verification.
  • Improve resilience and observability so failures can be detected quickly, contained, and resolved efficiently.
  • Mentor engineers through collaborative problem-solving, technical guidance, and code review, developing their ability to work independently.
  • Drive improvements to architecture, tooling, and engineering practices that reduce complexity, shorten feedback cycles, and improve product quality.
