About the role

Senior Sales Engineer for the Enterprise, Existing Business sales team focused on understanding complex enterprise customer needs and demonstrating how Fivetran’s data replication solutions drive business outcomes, including managing a proof-of-value process and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Enterprise customers to understand their business, use cases, and data replication/transformation requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with AEs, Professional Services, BDRs, marketing, and support to build and maintain an account ownership plan
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences
  • Ensure the technical win by running a tight proof-of-value process
  • Coordinate with Product and Engineering to align solutions with Enterprise needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key Enterprise customers and partners
  • Stay up-to-date on latest technologies and industry trends

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in data replication, data practitioner, data operations, analytics, sales engineering, or related technical field
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally to support large enterprise customers
  • Strong technical background in data replication, cloud infrastructure, data replication technologies, and/or database administration
  • Experience with modern data analytics technologies including cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, and BI tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
