About the role

Entry-level electrical engineering role at SpaceX Starlink in Bastrop, TX for graduates '26/'27. Multiple electrical teams (Board level design, RF & Antenna, Process, Test, Reliability, Controls, Compliance, Facilities) with responsibilities spanning design, hardware bring-up, testing, automation, and facility systems. Emphasis on in-house manufacturing and rapid development of terrestrial and space hardware for Starlink.

Responsibilities

  • Drive system trades, requirements capture, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping of complex electrical designs
  • Drive hardware bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, and test of complex electronics
  • Create simulation models of hardware to evaluate performance
  • Contribute towards pre-silicon verification, chip bring-up and post-silicon validation
  • Write automation software in python to interact with units under test, test equipment, instrumentation, and documentation systems
  • Provide engineering support for the design, operation, improvement, and troubleshooting of facility electrical components and systems
  • Challenge assumptions and work to find simple solutions to complex problems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline
  • 1+ years of experience design/analysis of circuits, electronic products, or hardware (internships/co-ops and club projects can apply)
  • Graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027
