About the role

Lead delivery of civil construction projects across residential, commercial, and industrial settings to support rapid production of Starship at the Starbase campus. Manage projects from conception to closeout, coordinating with design teams, stakeholders, and construction teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage civil infrastructure projects end-to-end, including design, permitting, procurement, construction, and close-out
  • Own project scope, schedule, and budget from conception through closeout for residential subdivisions, commercial amenities and community recreational projects; drive projects to meet target budgets and timelines
  • Serve as primary point of contact between design teams, utility operational teams, facilities maintenance groups, stakeholders, contractors, subcontractors, and local authorities having jurisdiction
  • Manage permitting and inspection processes with internal utility teams and AHJs
  • Write, negotiate, and manage design and construction contracts with subcontractors across multiple disciplines through contract close-out
  • Resolve design and construction conflicts in the field with pragmatic, fast-moving solutions
  • Support long-term utility and civil planning for future development and master planning for Starbase
  • Take on new projects ad-hoc as the business needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, construction management, or engineering
  • 3+ years of experience managing civil construction projects
