About the role

Procurement professional responsible for supporting Starbase purchases across multiple commodities and stakeholders, driving cost, quality, and delivery improvements, supplier onboarding, and continuous process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Review purchase request and issue purchase orders in a timely manner without error
  • Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers
  • Review quotes to ensure those are complete and align with SpaceX terms
  • Obtain the original promise date from suppliers
  • Review open order reports and manage deliveries
  • Resolve invoice issues and ensure that vendors are paid on time
  • Expedite parts as necessary
  • Act as customer service for SpaceX internal customers
  • Support buyers in cost savings initiatives
  • Lead miscellaneous procurement projects
  • Lead supplier onboarding process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; or 4+ years of professional experience working in a supply chain, production, or engineering function in lieu of a degree
