About the role

Claru (a Reka business line) is hiring a Supply Lead to build and manage the supply side of a global, AI-native marketplace that connects partner businesses with contributors who capture data and labor for AI training and related tasks. The role emphasizes automation, scalable systems, and operating in unfamiliar markets to drive capacity and supply.

Responsibilities

  • Build a portfolio of partner businesses across multiple environments (event venues, retail back-of-house, construction, agriculture, hotels, warehousing) and win engagements through real conversations
  • Grow the contributor base in parallel, expand to new geographies, and maintain multi-channel supply to avoid single-point dependencies
  • Own the geo rate card (costs per approved unit by market and project type) and ensure engagements are priced and staffed defensibly
  • Own capacity forecasting for deliverability in given environments and timeframes, with commitments from a Program Lead
  • Own contributor experience and retention (onboarding, timely payments, support, retention improvements)
  • Collaborate with the platform team on tooling to enable self-serve supply

Qualifications

  • Early-stage marketplace operating experience — required
  • AI-native — required (automation before hiring, system-driven scalability)
  • Operated rather than solely advised (founders, high-growth startup experience, or hands-on ops background is a strong plus)
  • Proven ability to close business with partner conversations
  • Numerate with capacity to model costs, identify break-even points, and argue for changes
  • Credible with both company owners and shift supervisors
  • Bonus: exposure to AI labs or training data pipelines
