About the role

Engineer role focused on ramp-up and optimization of high-volume production lines at Lumilens Bulim facility, covering manufacturing processes, test systems, and automation infrastructure across key factory domains.

Responsibilities

  • Establish SOPs, process windows, and equipment maintenance recipes for NPI to mass production.
  • Monitor line yields, track Cpk metrics, and deploy SPC methodologies to eliminate recurring production defects.
  • Partner with NPI, Design, and Quality teams to execute ECNs and qualify new tooling or component substitutes.
  • Lead cross-functional problem-solving initiatives using structured methodologies (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, DOE).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 2+ years of hands-on engineering experience in high-volume electronics assembly, SMT, PCBA testing, or semiconductor packaging.
  • Practical exposure to at least one primary domain: SMT equipment, ATE/LabVIEW/Python test scripts, PLC programming, or PCBA failure analysis.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in SPC, FMEA, and data analysis tools (Minitab, JMP).
