About the role

Role responsible for designing, implementing, and operating a corporate-issued mobile device program across Anthropic’s regions, bringing mobile management from BYOD to a managed fleet with config-as-code, telemetry, and secure app distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Design the corporate-issued mobile device program: device standards, issuance scope, regional rollout
  • Own global logistics of issuing hardware: procurement partners, regional coverage, spares, refresh cycles
  • Incorporate mobile configuration into config-as-code pipelines with policy review and progressive rollout
  • Build zero-touch enrollment: Apple Business Manager and ADE with managed Apple accounts on iOS, Android equivalent
  • Own policy, compliance, and device lifecycle from issue to wipe
  • Build telemetry on the corporate fleet: device check-ins, OS/patch state, state drift
  • Own managed app distribution for mobile from approval to update rollout
  • Partner with Corporate Security on device posture, trust signals, and travel devices
  • Define coexistence of corporate-issued devices and BYOD, and manage evolving boundary

Qualifications

  • Have owned a global or multi-region mobile device program end to end, with 8+ years managing corporate fleets at thousands-of-devices scale
  • Deep iOS device management: enrollment flows, Apple Business Manager and ADE, APNs and certificate lifecycle, declarative device management
  • Experience with Android device management in a mixed fleet
  • Treat device configuration as code; move beyond console clicks
  • Experience running infrastructure under an MDM (self-hosted servers, AWS/GCP, Terraform)
  • Built or launched a corporate device program; capable of coexisting with BYOD
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and coordinate across teams
  • Clear technical communication; product-engineering rigor in IT engineering
  • Strong documentation practices
