About the role

Internship role focused on data governance, AI-assisted data analysis, and internal tooling to support autonomous driving systems and test data pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • AV Scenario Data Mining: Assist in analyzing and extracting critical driving scenarios and edge cases from vehicle log data (e.g., sensor feeds, speed, trajectories).
  • Data Pipeline Support: Help build and maintain automated scripts (ETL) to parse, clean, and organize massive amounts of test data.
  • Internal Tool Development: Assist in maintaining and developing basic features for our internal web dashboards (e.g., visualizing test metrics or scenario statistics).
  • AI Agent Exploration: Under the guidance of your mentor, explore using AI agents/bots to perform automated data analysis and assist in scenario generalization.

Qualifications

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related field
  • Solid Python programming skills and comfort working in a Linux/Ubuntu environment
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts
  • Strong logical thinking, a passion for autonomous driving, and a fast learner
