About the role

Engineer to develop software interfaces for industrial machinery and autonomous factory systems, collaborating with robotics, mechanical, and controls engineers to scale Hadrian’s autonomous factory capabilities across multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software to interface with industrial machines, PLCs, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Create human-machine interfaces that enable technicians to control and monitor automation on industrial machines.
  • Ensure seamless software integration of automated manufacturing systems into Hadrian factories.
  • Build data logging pipelines for connected devices that feed operational planning and factory scheduling.
  • Collaborate with robotics, engineering, and operations teams to conceptualize, deploy, and upgrade manufacturing cells.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of software engineering experience
  • Proficient in Python, TypeScript, or C#
  • Strong ability and desire to work directly with hardware on the factory floor
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions with incomplete information and deliver complex systems on schedule
  • Flexibility to travel up to 10% of the year as Hadrian scales across the country
