About the role
Regulatory-focused privacy leadership role responsible for shaping and operating Cyble’s global privacy program, ensuring compliance with GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDPA, LGPD, PIPEDA and other regional privacy laws. Reports to Legal and Compliance; collaborates with Product, Engineering, Information Security, HR, Finance, and others.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain regulatory intelligence and privacy governance processes.
- Manage global privacy compliance roadmap across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead privacy incident awareness, regulatory actions, fines, and penalties monitoring.
- Define and execute the Privacy Program strategy, objectives, and implementation roadmap.
- Build and maintain a Privacy Organization structure and awareness/training programs.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and business teams to implement Privacy by Design.
- Oversee Privacy processes (Privacy by Design, PIAs/PIAs, Privacy Incident Management, records of processing).
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies and respond to inquiries, audits, complaints, and reporting across jurisdictions.
- Ensure regulatory communications are timely in case of a privacy breach; manage remediation and communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in law, information security, computer science, business, compliance, risk management, or related field; advanced privacy, legal, cybersecurity, or GRC education preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, DPDPA, LGPD, PIPEDA, and other major privacy regulations.
- Understanding of privacy governance, data subject rights, DPIAs, privacy by design, breach notification, regulator engagement.
